Seosan is only around thirty minutes to the beach. It's really like a mud flat and at low tide the Koreans are digging for shells or clams or whatever they dig for en masse.

The beaches are always crowded. No one does anything alone here. When you go to a movie theater in a large city, you have to take a number just to buy a ticket. Nonetheless, everything is very well organized, usually.

Anyway, in August I went to the beach two weekends in a row. The first one with my boss and his family; the second with some other teachers and friends that I had recently met.

Here are the photos.

The Beach
I had been in town about a month now and had made a few friends. The very next weekend after I went with my boss and coworkers to the beach, I loaded up with some friends and went to a different beach.
