Later in October my boss and his wife took all of us foreign teachers on a little road trip to visit The Korean Independence Center--a huge complex of museums and monuments. Actually it's a war memorial and it exemplifies the way many Koreans still feel about Japan's occupation which ended in 1945.

The photos should be self-explanatory to the lingering attitudes of many Koreans in regards to the Japanese.
